Consultations are tailored to your family’s unique goals and may include breast/body feeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and newborn feeding education.

Consultations are designed to provide calm, judgment-free support tailored to your family’s goals in the comfort of your own home. Visits may include feeding observation, hands-on guidance, newborn education, pumping support, and personalized care planning.
Lactation Consultations
Initial Lactation Consultation — $250
90-minute comprehensive consultation including:
full feeding assessment
latch and positioning support
weighted feed (when applicable)
pumping and bottle-feeding guidance
customized care plan
one complimentary 45-minute follow-up visit

low milk supply concerns
bottle refusal
pumping questions
weight gain concerns
prenatal feeding preparation
combination feeding support
Mastitis and plugged duct concerns
Follow-Up Consultation — $150
60-minute follow-up support visit for ongoing feeding guidance and adjustments.
May Include:
feeding plan updates
pumping support
returning-to-work planning
bottle feeding guidance
oral function concerns
supply management
newborn feeding transitions
Additional Information
Insurance accepted through eligible providers
$25 travel fee for appointments located more than 35 minutes from Crystal Lake
Appointments canceled within 48 hours are subject to a $100 cancellation fee
